Cristin Milioti's portrayal of Sofia Falcone, aka The Hangman, is a psychotic serial killer, yet it doesn't make you feel uneasy or afraid. She gives us a peek of her unpredictable personality in Episode 2 when she scares a mother by donning a scary mask. However, Milioti's portrayal is inconsistent and falls short of convincingly capturing the essence of the character. Her angry demeanour and big eyes look too forced in their attempts to portray "delirium" and "instability." As a result of the limited breadth of her performance, all we now know about Sofia is her intense search for her brother's killer and her love for him.
